IJoSPaT has published twice a year without interruption since its first issue in May 2023, with seven issues released up to Volume 4 Number 1 (May 2026).

May 2023	First issue, Vol. 1 No. 1, published.
November 2023	Vol. 1 No. 2 published.
2024	Vol. 2 (May and November) published; the 2024 article template is introduced. Registered with Crossref, Garuda and other indexing services.
2025	Vol. 3 (May and November) published.
May 2026	Vol. 4 No. 1 published.
September 2026	The journal website is compromised by an injection of illegal online-gambling spam content. The editorial team takes the affected pages offline, cleans the system and migrates the journal to Open Journal Systems (OJS) 3.5.0.5 with strengthened security.
November 2026	Vol. 4 No. 2 scheduled, the first issue published on OJS 3.5.0.5

Statement on the September 2026 security incident. In September 2026 unauthorised parties exploited a vulnerability in the journal’s former OJS installation and inserted links and pages promoting online gambling. This content was never part of IJoSPaT’s published articles and was not created or endorsed by the journal or its publisher. In response, the publisher:

1.        removed all injected content and blocked the compromised accounts and files;

2.        migrated the journal to a fresh installation of OJS 3.5.0.5 on secured hosting;

3.        restored all published articles, metadata and DOIs from verified backups and checked them against the Crossref records; Some of the data were corrupted.

4.        reset all user passwords, limited administrator access, and enabled regular updates, malware scanning and off-site backups;
